    The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. 

    We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

     If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    Used hood latch for a 1970 Mercury Cougar, it will fit the 1969 too. Starting in 1969 until 1970, Mercury had three different hood latches. This 1970 version has the longest handle, and is the easiest to operate. Those early 1969 latches are a two finger operation for those of us with large hands. The part shipped will likely not be as clean as the one in the picture.
