    Description

Repro bushings (pair) that mount to the grille for the headlamp operating shafts. These hardly ever survive after 40 years. Technically not needed, and most never knew they existed. Sold as a pair, one for each side.

When mounted these are tight, it was no wonder they are seldom seen on cars. Even the NOS bushings are tight. We recommend polishing the headlight shaft with emery or sand paper, to make both sides smooth. Definitely add a little bit of lubricant too.

    Replaces Ford part number C9MY-13B104-A.

    Pros:
    • Tight fit
    Cons:
    • difficult to istall
Very tight fit, and difficult to install; that said, followed recommendation of sanding the shafts and applied white lithium grease. Haven't tested yet due to wiring issue with headlights, but looks like the bushings will work fine.

    • Eliminate metal squeal
    • Keeps shaft in alignment
    Cons:
Like the add relates, you never see these in place because they break and fall out. Nice quality bushings that eliminate the metal-on-metal squeal when headlights open. Keeps the shaft in proper alignment.
