    Description

Reproduction passenger side (right hand) vent window frame for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang.

NOTE! Whereas you can make these off shore reproductions work we have found that virtually every angle, screw hole and dimension is found to be slightly to moderately off when comparing to the originals. No returns please.

    Cons:
This reproduction part is very good. Chrome finish is fantastic. Fitment went overall well other then a few minor issues.. You will need to tap out the threads to remove the Chrome or the bolts will be very difficult to almost impossible to thread in.. The other is there is a tiny screw that goes in the top of the frame to secure the door glass runner insert.. This just would no longer reach the threads.. I simply had to lightly countersink the hole a little deeper and it then reached.. Minor issues as far as I'm concerned and way cheaper then re-chroming my old window draft frames..

My 1971 Cougar XR7 was retrofitted with a Ford “400”, Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, TCI Street Fighter trans, B & M Hammer shifter, and dual turbo exhaust. While this sounds interesting, the Cougar itself was seriously neglected and...
