    New front10 X 2-1/2 inch brake shoes for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These will fit the rears of some Ford vehicles, but not a Cougar or Mustang without modification.


    Typically this size of brake shoes is only found on the front of a Cougar or Mustang. You would have to have 2-1/2 rear backing plates in order to use these shoes on the rear of your car.

    Where can I find information regarding the size of the front brake shoes for my 1970 Cougar xr7 convertible. Are the original front brake shoes 2-1/4 in. or 2-1/2 in.
