I ordered two orig. horns for my car. I recd' two horns shipped with NO packing material - loose in box. By the time I recd' them only one worked. Called in and was given another horn to replace the non-working one. Recd' the horn and it also didn't work! I have two aftermarket horns working fine just wanted to get Orig.equipt. to replace them. I don't think anyone in their shop checked the horns before sending them out! I paid $90.00 for junk... sent them (all 3) back to the shop for refund. Cant understand - everything Ive purchased from them has been great but, not this time around! Very disappointed!

The horns in my 69 Cougar had been replaced at some point in its life with incorrect (plastic) versions that didn't have the proper brackets and the Hi tone horn was broken and didn't work. These two used horns not only looked as though they belong in a rather original 69 Cougar...they bolted right in and sounded great when completed. No one will ever know they aren't the originals!

All used horns I found were too expensive or the seller couldn't check the horns. Most of them are burnt inside. Finally I found these horns from 'West Coast Cougar' and both horns are working (for sure) ! I sand blasted the horns and repainted them satin black. They're like new now. The bracket is also the 'ground' of the horn, so make some free space around the attaching bolt before painting ...

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
