    Description

Used stainless steel deck or trunk moulding / trim for 1969-70 Mercury Cougar, including convertible. This will also fit perfectly on your 1967-68 in place of the original aluminum trim and will look brighter and be less prone to damage. The down side to installing this on your 1967-68 Cougar is that it will not match the aluminum corner mouldings perfectly. This being a used, means that it will have minor scratches, and a small dent or two. Save your old mounting clips, these are sold without clips. Seven clips are used to install the deck lid moulding and we have new clips available here.

This icon means that we're looking to buy this part!

WCCC is a buyer of used and NOS hard to find 67-73 Mercury Cougar parts. Usually we give an in store credit of 50% of our web price for parts delivered in hand or by carrier to our Brooks, Oregon location. If you're not interested in store credit, just shoot us an email and we will let you know if it's is something we can pay cash for. We do not send cash for parts in advance but we often can compensate you within hours of receiving the goods.

Sometimes a 50% wholesale bid will not be enough to entice you to sell. It never hurts to ask if we can up our bid! If it is an in demand item that we have requests for we often can pay more. Just email us if you have questions or want to share pictures.

    Ford part # C9WY-6542512-A.

*NOTE* This unit carries a $50 refundable core charge. If you are unable to return your core within 30 days after the initial purchase, your refund will be in store credit only. If you have an unacceptable core, we have a core option for you in this moulding / trim section. Keep in mind we buy most trim and mouldings found on a Cougar.

    This item must ship via

When sending us your core(s), we will need a copy of your invoice. Or at the very least, your invoice number which is located at the top left corner of your original invoice. We will also need the date of your purchase.

Once you have your trim cores packed, we suggest that you take them outside and throw them up into the air as high as you can. After your box lands, jump on it. If you do not think that it will survive, you have not packed it well enough. We have discovered that this type of abuse is typical with shipping. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur in shipping.

    Core Refunds:

Core refunds are given when we deem the part worthy of being rebuilt. If you have questions on what a good core consists of, please email a picture of the part prior to sending it or give us a call for guidelines BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER OR SEND US YOUR CORES. Often we can at least offer a partial refund on your core, but we can not give core refunds on cores we can not use and we will not pay the shipping to us or pay to return the cores to you, if the cores cannot be used.

If you choose to send your cores to us in advance or choose "Hold my order for the Cores", and your cores are not rebuildable, you will be required to pay the core charge before we will ship your order.

Send Core Returns with a copy of your receipt to:

    W.C.C.C.
Core Return for (Your Order Number)
    5377 Waconda Rd NE
    Salem, OR 97305

Do not send us pretzel shaped parts, parts you have attempted to fix yourself, or flattened out parts. We need trim parts showing only MINOR dents, dings, dullness, or scratches.

If you have viewed our video on how to determine if your core is acceptable and still have further questions, please fill out our contact form and we will help you evaluate your trim cores.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
