    Wiring pigtail for the low fuel sending units on 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 and standard models with low fuel warning light, cut from a taillight wiring harness. The wiring is all integrated in 1973, unlike 1971-72 which has a separate harness for the fuel sending unit. The Safety Convenience Package included a low fuel warning light. This pigtail has three wires which attaches to the three prongs on the D1WF-9275-AC low fuel sending units. Ford part number is D3WB-14406-B or D3WY-14406-B.

    *Note - Standard cars without low fuel sending units have two prongs and two wires on the detachable pigtail.
