Features quality stamped steel construction, bushings, nuts, anti-squeak coil protector pads. From the get go these were never a very good design... The rubber is prone to cracking and the unit will bind under severe use. Not just speaking of the unit we are offering but all of them including the original Ford units. Here is an interesting article for those that are not happy with status quo. Global West and others have come up with their own solutions and after we have spent more time testing...
High Performance Coil Spring Perches offer a very affordable upgrade to stock spring perches with rubber bushings. These are made with synthetic elastomer bushings which are similar to polyurethane in performance and longevity, but will not squeak like polyurethane. The perch can rotate 360 degrees on the shaft, which allows the front suspension to articulate freely. This feature also eases the installation of the coil spring. Hot idle compensator valve assembly for many Ford engines with PCV, starting in 1964 through early 1968. Typically found on 1964-66 Ford 260-2V, and 289-2 engines with air conditioning. 1967-68 289-2V, 302-2V and some 390 engines all with air conditioning and PCV or closed emissions. The Ford assembly manual indicates that the Hot Idle Compensator Valve 'T' Assembly, was installed by removing 3/4 inches of the PCV hose, 2-1/4 inches (on center of the PCV valve).
