This eyelet bushing is made from higher grade rubber and unlike the NOS and other reproductions has a solid center shaft. The center shaft of this reproduction is a flat piece of steel that is bent into a circle to make the shaft for the eyelet bolt to go through, just like NOS.  Two per car, these are used on one end of the leaf springs and the shackles are used at the other end. This 3 degree wedge properly sets the pinion angle for the drive shaft. This is a Cougar specific part which is needed due to the longer than normal rear leaf spring length. There are other wedges, but we seldom see them. This 3 degree marked wedge is the most prolific one. Feel secure in using these as a replacement.  Sold individually, two required per vehicle.
