Threaded anchor that slides into the trunk hinge on each side. Sold individually, two needed per car. These are for Cougar and Mustang built before approximately 3/31/1971. Look for bolt spacing of 3 inches on those trunk lids.  Ford number 6242752. *Note - Trunks after March 31, 1971, used a different anchor plate. Bolt spacing of about 3 inches.

I think that they had a bolt spacing of 4-1/2 inches.

This dealer installed kit was designed to fit many FoMoCo products. These were most commonly mounted on the driver side rear panel. Very correct kit for the 1973! Not only does this kit include all the correct hardware, but also a photocopy of the original Ford template showing where to place the antenna on the passenger side fender. The rectangular base gasket is actually not correct for a Mercury Cougar as it has a Ford Mustang part number and is of a different shape and thickness.
