1973 Ford Mustang

This is used on cars equipped with factory A/C to stop the flow of warm coolant when the A/C is on.  These valves are normally set to open.  This is a Motorcraft service replacement part used on many FoMoCo models throughout the 1970s. Notice it has a plastic body, original production line parts featured a brass body. Ford Service part #: D4AZ-18495-A.

Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles. Fits Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang 1967-73.  A (5/16" inside diameter) rubber hose about 18-1/4 inches long attaches to the nipple. Has a very tiny diameter hole inside, about 0.062". Used hot water tube connector, Grade C condition. Fits 1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with EGR valve attached to the carburetor spacer plate.
