1967-1973 14 amp Buss style glass tube fuses sold in a package of 5 and used in multiple positions. They are used for courtesy, instrument cluster, door, map, glove box, pillar, luggage compartment, and clock lamps. Also for the lighter, ignition key on and head lamp on buzzers.

These is the correct driver side backing plate (sometimes called a splash shield) for 1968 - 1973 Cougars and Mustangs. Sold individually by side, each plate comes with the backing plate retainer. No other hardware is included. Although these plates fit the 68, they're cosmetically different in that 68 did not have cooling scoops.

This used emergency / parking brake cable connector is for the Mercury Cougar only. That is because it is longer than the Mustang version due to the Cougar's longer wheelbase. This connector connects the two ball ends of the long and short emergency brake cables. Ford part # C7WY-2A790-A.

This reproduction emergency / parking brake idler bracket welds to the under side of the floor on the driver side (left hand) of the vehicle and has the factory spec pin.

This passenger side (right hand) reproduction emergency / parking brake cable idler bracket mounts to the right front floor pan. The idler bracket is often discarded when the floor pan is removed for replacement. We also have good used units in stock for those that desire 100% correctness.

Quality reproduction power top or convertible switch for 1971-73 Ford Mustang. Switch comes with black toggle tip and chromed screw on bezel. This is a Mustang part that will not fit in the 3 gang switch on the dash of your XR7 Cougar. The only reason we list it is that if one wanted to mount this elsewhere on the dash it would at least match the look. This driver side moulding is correct for convertible. On convertibles the top portion is trimmed to allow it to slide under the sun visor bracket. This pair of reproduction convertible top hooks are beautifully chrome plated and features correct thread size. Looks close to original. These hooks are actually for 71 - 73 Cougars and Mustangs, but will work just fine on the 69 - 70.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

WOW! How long have we been trying to scrounge up good used pins for restoration? These are identical to what is found on all 1969 Cougar and Mustang Convertibles. Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-C (inner section) make up this two piece shroud for the 1972 - 1973 Q code 351-4V engine. This inner shield conforms to the 351-4V cast iron exhaust manifold only and the outer portion fits both the 2V and 4V.

These barrel nuts or clips are exactly like the original ones inserted into the trunk for attaching 1967-68 "Mercury" script, and 1971-72 Mercury Cougar "Mercury" Hood scripts. The manufacturer indicates that these tubular nuts fit 1/8" holes. Pin size on those emblems are 3/32". These clips are also used to attach the 1967 quarter panel emblems. Original used plastic upper radiator seal for 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 26 inch radiators. Also called a radiator air deflector. Also fits 1970-71 Torino, Ranchero, Cyclone and Montego. As well as 1970-72 full sized Ford and Mercury cars. Comes with 4 original spring clips for mounting. Clips are not sold separately.
