Used brake switch plug end, the one that plugs into the brake pedal switch for the brake lights. These often times get hot and partially melt. Easy to change, no cutting or splicing of wires. The female spade plug end just releases from the plug end, look for the release tab for beside the wire on the back.

New wiring pigtail with male bullet connector, and male / female paired connector. Also has rubber grommet that fits a 5/8" inch hole. Looks like 18 gauge wiring. This nut was used to fasten the guides into the 1970 bolt in glass. Nice reproduction clear rectangular clock lens for consoles. Fits all 1971-73 Cougar and Mustang consoles. The only downside is that these lenses have a slight manufacturing flaw - there is a small crack in the hole for the clock knob (see pictures above.) Phillips head oval. 1967-68 consoles use 4 attaching screws, 1969-70 consoles need 6 along the outside, 1971-73 consoles have a total of 8 screws along the outside. These are 1-1/2 inches long like the originals.
