Used upper rear fender brace that brace is visible when you open the door and look in the upper part of the fender void. Welds to the cowl on 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Same tab either side. Ford part number D1ZZ-16A006-A.

Fuel tank spacer. Welds to the bottom side of the trunk pan. Spaces the tank, so that the fuel vapor separator assembly, isn't pinched. Easy to make these stands, and there are two needed, are approximately 1-1/2 inches tall. Strap is 1-1/8 inches wide.  

These are about half the weight of originals and do not look correct in any way. They are far better than nothing. Bolts to the left hand and right hand lower floor reinforcement panels. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. Replaces Ford Part # C5ZZ-7610962-A. The Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1969 - 1973 Cougar convertibles and all 1965 - 1973 Ford Mustang...

This 1965 Mustang alignment pin is not correct for the 1969 to 1973 Cougar but it will work. See the image to the left to see the comparison to an original 69 pin.
