This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.
This unit mounts on the main air chamber, it opens and closes the air vent. Made of nylon with a steel and brass plunger just like original. This unit is easy to test and can be seen by removing the glove box. Often it is the internal spring that fails on these and if your Cougar or Mustang will not easily change between blowing through the defrost ducts and the floor duct, this unit may be the culprit. Switch assembly, servo control. Replaces Ford part # C6OZ-18C311-A. *NOTE* You will need to...

New Old Stock rear valance for the 71 - 73 Cougar. Original Ford is the best way to go whenever you can.Ford part # D1WY-6540544-A.
Good used, rust free valance. Getting to be hard to find without excessive filler or severe damage. We have a local body man take small dents out and he does not load them up with Bondo. He removes the filler and works the dent out properly. These are not paint ready, flawless parts but rather 40 years old, taken from a parts car. We do have NOS and on occasion we we get in a flawless used example. We have no plans to start selling the fiberglass reproductions as we feel good used, original...

Vacuum tested working hot water valve for any 1969-73 Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustang equipped with factory A/C. This valve stops the flow of warm coolant in the heater hose, when the A/C is on. 351C VALVCOVER Ford engine blue painted valve cover with "Powered by Ford" embossed in the metal. Correct on 1970-1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 351C engines. Ford master parts catalog shows a right and left version of this cover those Service Replacement numbers are D2SZ-6582-A & D2SZ-6582-B. Although we have more of these in inventory, we do not recommend them because the remaining quantities will be less than desireable. *Note - This cover will not work on a 351 Windsor engine. ...
Same as our crinkle finished Mercury Cougar valve covers but with a polished finish. These are rarely in stock so do not be surprised if our system will not let you order. We get these from Scott Drake and the only reason they polish a few sets a year is when they find a set of black covers that have a defect, they send them in to be polished. So... The only time we have these in stock is when they find blems to polish. Please do not ask us when we expect to get more in, we have no idea when...

Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles. Fits Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang 1967-73. A (5/16" inside diameter) rubber hose about 18-1/4 inches long attaches to the nipple. Has a very tiny diameter hole inside, about 0.062". Needs to be kept clear to work properly. Also see the reproduction version from AMK. Concours hose kit with...
This hand held cart was used by service stations or garages to hold spools or bare wire to make them easily accessible when needed. There's a handy foot long ruler painted into it to quickly and easily measure lengths of wire. The design and style suggests that it could be from anytime between 1940 and 1970, making it a valuable collectors item for car enthusiasts. Condition is used, but aside from obvious defects and patina (see photos above, random wire included),...
