1971 Mercury Cougar

Used original pan removed from a Western parts car, 14 bolt holes. This pan is not available new. These will have some dents and or scrapes. These were not painted originally, may have light rust that will clean up. Consider them Grade B used.

Application; 390, 427, 351CJ, 428CJ, and 429CJ all with C6 transmission. 428CJ and 429CJ 4 speed transmissions. 1970 351C-4v with FMX.U-joint size 1330, overall length 8-3/4 inches.

This would be for the non-competition suspension Cougars. U-Bolt length 7 inches, and threads 1-1/4 inch in length. U-Bolts include two (2) correct style attaching nuts 7/16-20 threads. This size of U-bolt seems to be the most common found on Cougars, no matter the leaf pack stack.  Ford part number C7WY-5705-A. Standard suspension U-Bolts run about 6-3/4 inches in length, see related items.

All of our used insulation hood pads are guaranteed to be filthy dirty, less than perfect (as shown) and include at least one spider. We cannot fold these to ship them and they are too large for UPS. You must pick them up in person or we can ship them for free when you purchase a hood from us.

Used XR7 grade "B" main under hood wiring harness located in the engine compartment. This harness has plugs for the head lights, voltage regulator, starter solenoid, windshield washer pump, and horns. All electrical harnesses are inspected, professionally repaired, tested, and ready to install. Grade "B" harnesses may have one or two repairs as where grade "A" harnesses will be rare uncut beauties. 1971 Mercury Cougar XR7 models only.
