This is the correct, original cover for your 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and 1969-70 Ford Mustang antenna. This is a decent reproduction of the radio bracket for the 69 or 70. Take a look at the smaller image to see them side by side. The repro is slightly taller and has extra holes in it so it fits other applications. We recommend sticking with good originals.  Why deviate from 100% correct if you don't need to.

Used driver side (left hand) front drum brake backing plate for 2-1/2 inch brake shoes on the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang, and Fairlane / Torino equipped with 351 or larger V8 engines. Ford part # C9OZ-2013-B. *NOTE* Excludes 1969-71 Mustang and other Ford/Mercury with 302 engines, which normally came with 10" x 2-1/4" drum brakes on the front.

This kit includes the 4 fine threaded "T" shaped studs (with nuts) that mount the backing plate to the spindle and the plate that goes on the inside of the backing plate. These are used parts that are not damaged or corroded, taken from a Western parts car.

Reproduction power window switch, replaces the all of the switches for 1969 and very early 1970. Master switch panel and individual door and rear windows. Replaces C9AZ-14529-D switch.However, for most of 1970 and through 1972, these will not work in the master power window switch panel. That switch is also available, see related products tab.

NOTE!!!! This offshore switch is assembled with plated steel rivet contacts as opposed to brass rivet contacts like original. Whereas the Torino or Mustang do fine with 2 incandescent rear bulbs the Cougars with 6 bulbs put too much load on the switch and they fail. The only way these switches will hold up in a Cougar is if you convert to LED. Our turn signal switches are made on the FoMoCo original tooling. If you have replaced your sequential unit in the trunk with one of our new solid state sequential units and are still having problems then the turn signal switch is most likely the culprit as the only other part to the system is the wiring harness itself. Voltage regulator for the 1968, 1969, and 1970 manufactured before 9/15/1969 that is not equipped with factory AC. This regulator has "C8AF-10316-A" printed on to it, actual Ford Part number is C3SZ-10316-B or D4TZ-10316-A. This is Ford Regulator Number GR-341. These new voltage regulators are improved and more reliable than the units we've sold previously.
