Phillips flat head machine screw for attaching bucket seat, seat back release catch on any 1968-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang including bench seat cars. Original screws are trilobed, meaning that they have triangle shaped threads instead of perfectly round. Helps with locking. We recommend using locktite or some other thread sealer when installing. Not 100% correct, but close and functional. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969 - 1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall. Sold as a box of 100.
