Reproduction 8-32 x 1/2" stud used to attach the convertible boot mouldings on any 69-73 Cougar or 65-73 Mustang. A number of these studs were installed on the mouldings, going through the body of the car and attached underneath the sheet metal using the boot nuts.

Only two things differ, the upper lip on the bezel is different in that the originals had a smaller lip on the top and this reproduction is the same on all four sides. If you have an early 1969 your hinge was a flexible plastic strip that long ago began to fail. Often you will see generic piano hinge in its place.
