This would be for the non-competition suspension Cougars. U-Bolt length 7 inches, and threads 1-1/4 inch in length. U-Bolts include two (2) correct style attaching nuts 7/16-20 threads. This size of U-bolt seems to be the most common found on Cougars, no matter the leaf pack stack.  Ford part number C7WY-5705-A. Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles. This factory applied paint daub was to remind the line worker that this side was the passenger side. This is the mounting plate for the end links on the factory rear sway bar. The tab for the end links are mounted forward of the rear axle towards the outside of the car. These plates get sandwiched between the shock mounting plates and the Isolator clamps on your rear axle assembly. Sold individually and you will need two for the installation. These are the U-shaped brackets that hold the round part of the rear sway bar. These mount to the rear frame rail. All 1970 - 1973 Cougars should have these mounting holes from the factory, 1969 and earlier Cougars do not have these holes. Two clamps needed for installation.

Reproduction locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column.
