Full set of metal radio knobs for the 1967 Mustang or Cougar. Not for use with the 1967 Cougars equipped with factory center console. Keep in mind we have reproduction knobs that will work in place of these.

This is one of the easier knobs to find in that it does not break easily and can be found on many 1967 FoMoCo products. Not used on Cougars with a center console and little to no differences can be seen between the different examples. One explanation for having multiple casting numbers for the same part is that Ford would use multiple suppliers for a single part. Reproduction positive crankcase ventilation valve or PCV valve for 1967 Mercury Cougar, Cyclone, Ford Mustang and Torino all with 390GT or S code 390-4V engines. Hot idle compensator valve assembly for many Ford engines with PCV, starting in 1964 through early 1968. Typically found on 1964-66 Ford 260-2V, and 289-2 engines with air conditioning. 1967-68 289-2V, 302-2V and some 390 engines all with air conditioning and PCV or closed emissions. The Ford assembly manual indicates that the Hot Idle Compensator Valve 'T' Assembly, was installed by removing 3/4 inches of the PCV hose, 2-1/4 inches (on center of the PCV valve). Oil filter adapter for all Ford small block engines including 221, 260, 289, 289HiPo, 302, and 351W engines. Ford indicates that this was used 1962-1970. Screws into the engine block. We do not know the threads, but the small side is standard oil filter sized.Ford part number C2OZ-6882-C.

This white plastic spacer fits into the back of the right hand inner knob on cars without factory fader or balance. If your inner knob is loose and will not align, you will want to see if this part is in place. 1968-70 AM-FM radios would not utilize this part because they have a balance feature. 1967 AM-FM radios would use this part as they did not have a balance feature. Note: Not for use with aftermarket radios. Finding correct radio knobs for a 1968 Ford Mustang or Mercury Cougar equipped with a center console has been a huge obstacle for decades now. This kit is similar to the original type mounted in every drivers side door. These OEM style Riv-Nuts will be a challenge to install unless you have the special tool. We have created all of the components needed to economically install the steel nutsert or Riv-nut for the exterior mirrors that mount to the car doors. Our steel Riv-nut uses a 1/4 inch hole. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. You will notice the reproduction has a larger head (The two on the right in the lower picture are repros) than both of the used versions typically found on 67-73 Cougars. This is by far the best, most correct FE pan ever offered. Very accurate reproduction of the C6OZ-6675-A oil pan used first on the 1966 Fairlane and Comet with one of the 390 CI optional engines. It is 100% correct for 1968 and early 1969 428CJ. It is not 100% correct for the 428SCJ but still a good alternative.
