Used 1968 Mercury Cougar GT-E horizontal grille bar, from the driver side headlight door. Measures 15-3/16 inches long. This is the longest section of extruded aluminum from an original car. There are a total of 7 pieces for a complete grille on a GT-E. It can be cut down to fit any other position that you may be missing. This is a rare find. This one has road tested, meaning that it does have some minor scuffs from use.

The screws supplied with this kit have a head that is just slightly smaller than original so when you really tighten the screws down the head goes right on through the stop! This mirror came primarily on the 1968 Cougars, but have also been seen on the 1969. It has a twist lever to switch from day to night view. Comes in black only, case is of a hard plastic as opposed to the original hard vinyl case. The texture is not as heavy as original. Replaces Ford Part #: C7AZ-17700-G.
