Nice product. The main downside is, as mentioned in the part description, this will plainly show just how pretzelled your chassis has gotten over the decades. Will be fitting the car to the part :-)

Installed this high quality export brace when the 1967 Cougar XR7 front end was restored. There were cracks on the shock towers so bracing was needed and the export brace was an easy installation. Definitely strengthens the front end and would highly recommend. I also did a 1 inch front spring drop and welded in the shock tower reinforcement plates while the car was dismantled.

 

This is one of the first things any Cougar or Mustang owner should get for their car. Very inexpensive upgrade that will improve handling that you will notice immediately. Quality was even better than I expected. I too had to spread shock towers some to get it to fit but well worth the effort.

This export is an amazing upgrade. Because of shifting in the strut towers, putting in this brace can be challenging. But remember, don't make the part fit the car; make the car fit the part.

I was surprised by the difference in the handling of the car after this one modification. Definitely recommend!

After seeing the install on WCCC, I decided to upgrade and install this Shelby export brace. The install was fine no problems.

I added the brace as part of the install of the 1" lowering springs and the brace fit perfectly and looks great!

Yeah, this fell right into place with no problems. met my expectations and I am very happy (and more confident) when taking corners....thank you.

Bought this export brace after hearing from everyone how much of a difference this will make. Very easy to install, exact fit and super strong craftsmanship! Also picked up the shock tower reinforcement plates and plan to weld these in next week. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

With other repairs/improvements done at the same time, the brace appears to have helped the handling greatly.
