once we are finished with the restoration of the body we will require the sealing of doors and windows . I was glad that WCCC is able to provide reproductions of this nature.

Look and work great

This kit I found to be not so great. Unfortunately there is no other manufacture of this kit. The pro is the door felt strip fit perfectly as did the outside seal for the Quarter windows. The con I found was the door seal, a few of the retaining clips just would not hold the seal to the door regardless how many time I tried forging the clips. They should of been made of spring steel but there not. Ended up I had to remove all the clips from the new part and replace them with the OEM clips from my old part. Then it held perfectly.. Big job so not to break the old OEM clips. As well I found the seal to be a little narrow but this was the least of my issues. Last was the inside felt strip on the Quarter windows. This was way to thick and the first time I rolled the window up it pealed the felt clean off the the new piece. Ended up leaving it with no felt.

This kit is all you need to replace the door wipers for your door panels. Great fit.

installed these beltline kits this weekend the ones on the body went on easy. the felts in the door panel were a tricky to align right but I got them on and they look great thank you wccc

Fit and looked like original. A little difficult to install . Just watch the video on WCCC website on how best to remove and replace them, Very Helpful.

This is the only kit to buy for your cougar I bought others but this is the only one that matches the original cougar beltline

Just did this and they turned out great! A few tips to remember: 1. read instructions but don’t follow them. They say to pry staple while panel is on the car and I’d recommend taking panel off and using an awl and needle nose to straighten the staple ends, first! They will release much easier. It is important to do this on the rear panels made of plastic.

2. To hid the staples in the ‘fuzzies’, just carve a channel in the felt (fuzzies) between the staple posts. You must do this on the rear quarter window felts to get the staple to extend through the thick plastic, so the ends can be bent over. I grabbed it with needle nose and curled it by twisting it, like an alligator would if he grabbed your leg.

3. There was two screws holding the original rubber piece on the outside of the window. One in front and back. I found it necessary to add two more in the middle evenly spaced.

had to tweak the quarter window inside pieces a bit other than that fit was great. Product looked great when installed
