After having to cut my old filler neck hose off after 40+ years of service this thing slid right on and fit like a glove.

Slips right on and fits good. Seems to be a little longer than the original. Would recommend comparing to original and cutting to same length, makes getting the filler neck in easier.

Great repro part. The only difference from (original?) on '68 Standard is the length. Old hose was nominally 3-1/4" long; repro is 4-7/8". Extra length deformed as it extended onto curve of filler tube. I could have cut it to shorter length but wanted to retain factory square-cut ends, so installed repro as received, clamping at tank and about 2/3's up in order to stay on straight section of filler tube. Works fine.

Easy install. Hose is just a little longer than it needs to be but maybe other cars have some variation. That's not a problem. It doesn't seem to be any heavier wall. Perhaps it is to reflect original equipment. The item description doest say but I'm hoping it is formulated for today's ethynol fuel mixes. It was very inexpensive. I received it quickly. Went on perfectly. Made me happy and the car doesn't smell like gas anymore. That makes the wife happy.

Fits perfectly and that fuel smell has gone from the boot...or trunk as you guys call it.
