Installed in my 1973 XR-7. It comes with instructions which I needed. I plugged them in but didn't work and the instructions advise that if this happens you need to reverse the wires (polarity) at you plug or fabricate 2" jumper cables. I opted to make the jumper cables because my connectors didn't extend long enough for me to easily work on removing the wires from the connector plus I didn't want to damage my connector. To fabricate jumper cables just obtain (4) male and female 1/4" disconnects and (4) 2" length of 16 gauge wire. Crimp the wires to the disconnects and you will have 4 jumper cables. Once done they easily tuck away under the dash and hidden behind the glove box. Note: My emergency flasher was located to the right of the radio and the turn signal was under the right side of the glove box. Both easily accessible once the glove box was removed.
I ordered this part as I wanted to upgrade my tail lights to the plasma LEDs. I can't really say much about this part other than it was super easy to install in my 69 Eliminator and it works like a champs. If you are installing this to use the plasma LED bulbs, don't forget the Solid State - Taillight Sequential Unit.
Excellent
The LED conversion by WCC is OUTSTANDING !
These work well, the sequence timing is perfect I bought two complete systems for my boys, one has a 69 and one a 70 XR7 - partly because I was concerned about safety, and this definitely adds the coolness factor as well, the sequence is well timed and consistent - beautiful.
I put this unit in my 1970 Shelby along with the flasher and plasma bulbs and all I can say is...WOW! I don't have to worry about other drivers not seeing my directional or brake lights. Very easy to install and I would highly recommend it.
LED Plasma bulbs are a must have now days, part of which requiered is this flasher kit.
Works great. Converted my 69 over to the plasma LED using the plasma bulbs, seq unit and flasher. What a difference! The turn signals now work the way I always wanted them to. And you can see them. Only took about 45 minutes to make the change.
