Original adapter was missing and the engine bay smelled of gas. Found it on WCCC web site, bought it right away. Shipping was fast, part was in great shape and fit perfectly.
This is the genuine part when nothing less than original OEM will do. Being an used original for 1971 - 1972 vehicles this part is perfect for a survivor as-is, but some cosmetic restoration may be needed for concours depending on the condition of the particular one you receive. These install easily by just aligning the tabs with the cutout in the air cleaner closest to the snorkel, then push in and twist slightly towards the snorkel to seat the part securely. Be gentle to avoid breaking the tiny plastic retainer grooves, given the part is well over 50 years old at this point.
