Got my key today. Like have that Ford logo rather than a generic. Its great WCCC offers this service on 45 yr old vehicles.
I have a 1973 Torino, lost my keys called a lock smith and was like no way! After searching many sites gave this one a try. They gave me advise on how to get the codes I needed for my locks. So reluctantly (lol) I paid the fee's and gave them the info they needed to cut the key's. Low and behold got them pretty fast and Boom! They work ! Good job! i will defiantly be back if I need any quality work done by you!
It was tough getting the code without disassembling the door, but I got in there with an inspection camera and was able to take a pic of the code. Key works great in both locks and ignition. The only complaint I have is that this key is very light compared to the original. Not sure what metals were used in each, but originals I have are more brass looking, and these are more bright like a steel or aluminum. Hopefully they hold up to time, but for now they work great.
After 15 years of storage, the keys had disappeared and someone began removing (stealing) parts at night. We had to move our 1 owner 72 XR7 Cpe. 4V closer to the shop, with locked steering and transmission, wrecker service quote was $125. WCCC to the rescue! Passenger door cylinder had the stamping ID (4-72 Dearborn build) new The key arrived fast and fit like it did in 1972 when she left Marstaller Motors in Waco. Now Ginger is safe and we are going to wake her up soon! Customer for life in Texas
