Due to the vulnerable location of the control valve these often get cracked or worn through from rubbing on other components. Fits most all Ford passenger cars 1962-1970. Replaces Ford part number C2AZ-3C705-B

1967 - 1971 Ford power steering pump dipstick. Used until 2-8-1971.

Used 3/8-16 x 41/64"  carriage bolt for the shock tower shock cap. Three bolts used on each cap, 6 total per car. Sold individually. *Note - Carriage bolt detail cleaned for the picture, actual part will need a clean up on a wire wheel.Replaces Ford part number 378535-S2.

New castle nut for all power steering control valve ball stud found on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. 3/4 inch hex nut, with 1/2-20 threads. Connects the Pitman arm to the ball stud on the P/S control valve. Don't forget the cotter pin. Verify your shop manual for correct year torque specifications. We found one source of 28-35 FT LBS. for the Pitman Arm nut to control valve. Ford numbers for attaching nut: 1967-68 351059-S, 1969-70 385002-S.

This plastic socket is very brittle and almost always breaks when installing a new door jamb switches. Does not fit cars with Warning Group with door ajar option. Simply install by carefully breaking the old brittle plastic socket apart with pliers to free up the wire leads and plug wire leads into the new socket.

Fine thread lock nut used in various places on old Fords, including the differential housing, 1967 disc brake assemblies, and more. Replaces Ford part # 34445-S

Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear ends. Phosphate and oil coated with thread sealer. These are one time only nuts. They should not be reused per Ford. Replaces Ford part #: 371518-S

This kit is a must when redoing the disc brakes on a 1968-73 Cougar. Includes new brakets (caliper stabilizers), bolts, pins, and clips and rubber dust seals. Kit includes the pair.

Reproduction power steering drop bracket for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. One must use this part when installing headers with power steering.  Because of the way this bracket hangs down, it will get bumped and bumped hard in time. Becasue of this we recommend considerning our premuim version of this bracket, as it is substantially stronger.

Installation of this bracket is easy but you will have to make a spacer to fit on the outside of the frame rail. Hopefully you bought this bracket first before you tore out the nut inserts in the frame. If not you will need to get them up for now. Then tap the bracket toward the the outside of the car and make sure the cross bolt lines up. Then measure the gap and make a spacer to fit. A half inch nut and a couple of washers usually work just fine. It's not necessary to get fancy with this...

C8ZA-3494-A Lower pressure hose. High pressure hose from the insulator to the control valve. All correct ribbing, striping, and crimping. Has correct colored protective sheathing. *Note - There are two halves to the pressure hose from the pump to the control valve. This is the lower half only. Please see the various part numbers for the upper section of pressure hose.

NOTE: Some customers have mentioned this hose does not fit well, others have said it fits with no issues. It is not the same as OEM and fitment seems to depend on the vehicle and modifications that have been previously done. We recommend going with our premium version. This Pump to Value Outlet Pressure Hose is 100% correct for the 1969 small block, and will work for the 1967 or 1968 with the 5/16 inch control valve fitting if the power steering hoses are routed the same as on the big block engines. This hose is the hose most Mustang / Cougar parts vendors offer. It is a rubber flex hose with economy fittings. Two required per vehicle, sold individually. We do not recommend these hoses and can not stand behind them as they often will leak if not torqued to the proper specs.
