Mounts on the rear of either the 289-2V or 289-4V factory cast iron intake manifold. This valve has three equal sized vacuum hose fittings in addition to the steel line going to an intake manifold vacuum source. Ford part number C6AZ-9B289-E. 1967 California emissions only.

Mounts on the rear of the intake manifold, it must be a 1967 or possibly a 1966 "S" intake manifold. There are no mounting provisions on 1968 or later factory cast iron intake manifolds. These were installed at the factory on 390 / 427 / 428 equipped cars that were exported to countries that did not require the smog system. They are much shorter than the over the Ford counter service plugs you see in the states that are put on after one removes the smog system.
