    Reproduction shock support for the 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and 1965-70 Ford Mustang. This support sits underneath the transition hump and attaches the upper mounts of each rear shock. The shock hardware is accessible through two access holes on the hump. Body plate may be slightly different than OEM. This is Dynacorn part number 3649Y.

    Not for 1969-70 cars with staggered shocks.

    Is this additional support or a replacement for a cracked floor pan?

    Neither, it's a replacement for the panel that the rear shocks attach to under the transition panel (the area right behind the rear seat).
