CUSTOM ORDER, DROPSHIP ONLY. A top quality replacement vinyl top that looks great and fits perfect. We talked to the manufacturer about making 1/2 vinyl tops, but they said that they would need to charge the same amount for the 1/2 top and all they would do is just cut the top to the length requested, so their suggestion was to just let customers who need a 1/2 vinyl top purchase the full vinyl top and let them cut the top to the exact dimensions for their top.

We have had this rare roof material reproduced! The material comes in a 54" wide roll and we give you twelve running feet which is more than enough to do one 69-70 Cougar (Unless you have power sunroof). This part is located in the left front corner of the panel and has to be rotated inward to remove it from the guide rail so the panel cannot be removed. Imprinted on the plastic portion of the part is a Golde part number 100 414 645. Ford part number C8WY-65502L09-A

Contrary to what you might think at first glance, the support rods used in 1967 - 1968 Cougar headliners are not the same front to back. Each of the rods is bowed to a different curve. To replace a headliner and make it look right, you must keep the rods in the same order as they came out of the original headliner. The 1971 - 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 came with Tier and standard came with Perforated headliner, so make sure you choose the correct texture. Pair of used wire anchors for keeping the rear most headliner bow stationary. These are fragile wires, and prone to rusting. We try to keep them in inventory. 1967-68 anchor wires are 5-9/16 inches long. A DIY person can improvise these pretty easy, using lengths of regular wire. Ford part # C4OB-6252180.

Reproduction frame used to stretch your headliner over on the interior side of your sliding sunroof panel. Since we do not have near enough of these to go around we also offer a cardboard template for purchase for those of you that would like to make your own. Used grade "B" rear courtesy / opera light lens for the Mercury Cougar. Opera lights were came as standard equipment on all XR7 Cougars, but were installed on many decor and standard level Cougar interiors. These units will have a few "warts" which show up as pitting in the chrome and may also have some minor cracking in the lens. Used interior quarter window moulding for the driver side (left hand) of the Mercury Cougar coupe. This trim installs vertically behind the quarter window. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee we will be able to supply the color of your choice, but we will try to accommodate.

This driver side moulding is correct for hardtop or coupe. On convertibles the top portion is trimmed to allow it to slide under the sun visor bracket. Good used original insulation pad as taken from a Western parts car. Used Jute pad that will not have any water or pest damage. These original pads are nice because they are made from a much more dense material (3.74 pounds) than the reproductions (.75 Pounds) and they have the factory perforated "knock out" sections for the optional speakers. There currently are no reproductions of this curved, thin package tray. Included with the tray are both slender strips of thin sound deadener / insulation. These package tray cover boards will not have heavy water damage, but will need paint. Replaces Ford part number D1WY-6546668-A.

Reproduction cover board for the rear package tray found on the 1968 Mercury Cougar behind the rear seat, visible through the rear window. Good used piece of insulation / sound deadener that is distinctly different from 1967. This pad weighs more than four times what the reproduction does and will much more effectively insulate the passenger compartment of your Cougar from sound, heat and cold. Notice it comes with the factory perforations for speakers and rear window defog unit.

These convertible black interior "A" pillar mouldings are sold as a pair only. The texture and contour look good when installed but when turned over you will see they are thicker than original and are made from a different material than original. These may require some grinding of high spots on the back side to make them fit flush against the windshield post. Replaces Ford part # C9ZZ-7603598-B and C9ZZ-7603599-B.
