    Pros:
    • Solved my leak and is a solid part
    Cons:
    • Might need minor adjustments
This is a very close match to my original steel fuel pump to carburetor line, which had a bad fitting at the fuel pump. If I had a tube bender, I would have pulled it back out after threading it around the vacuum advance canister and down into place to make two adjustments. It needed about 10 degrees on top from the passenger fender to centerline on the fuel filter, and about 10 degrees angle toward the front of the car to center on the fuel pump outlet fitting. As is, I was able to leverage it straight onto the pump fitting with some effort and got the fitting to hand tighten about 4-5 turns so I knew I hadn't cross threaded the new fitting. On top, it is fractionally out of line from straight to the screw in fuel filter, but I put in new hose between the steel line and filter with ease. If I was worried about a judge, I might have gone and bought a tube bender for the tiny tweaks, but my leak has been fixed and the quality of the tubing gives me confidence I will get another 53 years out of this part.
