This hard plastic black cover, or shield, attaches just below the radiator and protects the headlight vacuum hoses that attach to the left and right headlight door actuators. This used part will be free of cracks but will be warped. With patience and heat they can be successfully massaged back to their original form. This taillight at first glance looks as good as our grade "A" lens but when it is held to the light you will see a few stress cracks. Most of the 67-68 Cougars on the road are this way and so are most of the lenses in our yard.
