This is the complete one piece seat belt buckle cover which comes with the face plate (with the round cutout for the push button) and the bezel all in one. Only two things differ, the upper lip on the bezel is different in that the originals had a smaller lip on the top and this reproduction is the same on all four sides. Retainer that screws to upper rear lip near the quarter glass on all 1969-70 Mercury Cougar hardtops and 1970 Ford Mustang coupes. Ford lists this part as: Retainer - quarter trim panel rear. We see these three ways on 1969-70 Cougars: one retainer in the rear position alone, two of these retainers front and rear, and one small retainer at the rear and one large retainer at the front of the panel.

Angled cup or retainer, used with the wiper switch, it locates and maintains the angle to the dash from behind. 1969 and 1970 are different, obvious when you realize that the flat spot is indexed differently between the two years. 1969 has the flat spot oriented at the bottom.
