These 1969 molded vinyl, single post head rests were never offered on a Cougar or Mustang to our knowledge but they make a great "go-around" for the very expensive 1968 dual post headrests. To use them on your 1968 Cougar you will first need a pair of 1969 bucket seats as they have the internal hardware to accept the post. 1968 was a weak design so the 1969 seat frame is a nice upgrade and of course will accept any of the 1968 foam and interior kits. Nice reproduction headliner trim for 1968 Mercury Cougar standard models without padded windshield pillars. Also fits several years of Mustang. They come black, but can be painted to match your interior. Right and left steel pillar trim with mounting screws. Ford part # C5ZZ-6552136 and C5ZZ-6552137.

Used hinge for any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This hinge has two ribs formed for added strength. There was an early 1967 version of this hinge that did not have the ribbing. Comes as shown, we select the best hinges to inventory, most will have the original dash color paint. Replaces Ford part number C7ZZ-6506050-B.

Set comes with economy grade pliers and 150 hog rings, enough for one bucket seat, probably two.

This kit contains 500 hog rings, more than enough for two bucket seats and one bench seat.

Used on two spoke steering wheels. Replaces Ford Part # C0DZ-13807-A. Although it does not "look" right it will function correctly. Those in the know will purchase our good used spring.

This used kit is for the person who has purchased a console minus the parts needed to hook it up to the shifter. Perfect fit, easy to replace and will be a great upgrade over your original scratched and or pitted knob. To remove, reach behind the dash and locate the small, round spring loaded button on the top side of your headlight switch. Depress the button while firmly grasping the knob and move back and forth until it releases. Reproduction inner radio knob used on the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with a factory center console and measures 1-3/8 inches tall. Replaces part # C8ZA-8A932-B

This set of reproduction used knobs is for 1968 Cougar / Mustangs without factory console. The exception to the rule would be the XR7G. Cougars equipped with a console need the longer version of this knob to clear the padded console face. If you happen to have a 1969 or newer radio then the radio has longer shafts and these knobs may in fact work with a console. You will not realize how yellowed your original is until you put it next to this new one. Correct for XR7 or standard 67-68 consoles. Note, these install much easier if you trim a small sliver off each of the four mounting tabs with a utility blade.
