This is a grade 'A' used mirror assembly with no UV damage and has had the mirror lens "re-silvered". Keep in mind a restored lens that is decades old will look good when finished but almost never flawless as the surface of the glass will usually have light scratches and often faint spotting on the backside from previous water damage / staining. This receptacle was used on the 1967-68 rear of all consoles except the 1967 standard. It was also used in the rear interior panels of the 1971 - 1973 Cougar for both convertible and coupe. Not correct for 1969 - 1970 convertible rear side panels.Ford part number C5AZ-6230702-A.

Identified with the straight bracket compared to the 1968 relay which has a bend. These relays are tested by our electrical department. Keep in mind we have a reproduction substitution for this part. Used cigar or cigarette lighter threaded retainer with ground lug. Fits any 1969 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with factory installed console. The ground lug is needed for the heating element in the socket. The consoles are made of plastic and use the common socket designed for steel dashes. This retainer is part of C9MB-15055-A socket and retainer assembly. 

Replaces the original Ford part that features a # C7SB-17B732-A casting number. Basically correct for 1967 but works just as well on 1968 mirrors. This is a very specialized screw that you do not want to fail or make do with an incorrect fitting or stripped screw. When removing your old screw you will most likely have to pull your pedal assembly and have a perfect fitting screw driver to remove the screw as the factory put them in 3-6 foot lbs.Ford part number 380503-S8.
