Pair of used wire anchors for keeping the rear most headliner bow stationary. These are fragile wires, and prone to rusting. We try to keep them in inventory. 1971-73 anchor wires are 4-9/16 inches long. A DIY person can improvise these pretty easy, using lengths of regular wire. Ford part # C6AB-6352180-A.

Contrary to what you might think at first glance, the support rods used in 1971-73 Mercury Cougar headliners are not the same from front to back. Each of the rods is bowed to a different curve. To replace a headliner and make it look right, you must install the rods in the same order as they came out from the original locations. When installing, make sure to massage the rim blow switch in place with counter clockwise, compacting strokes.
