This white plastic spacer fits into the back of the right hand inner knob on cars without factory fader or balance. If your inner knob is loose and will not align, you will want to see if this part is in place. 1968-70 AM-FM radios would not utilize this part because they have a balance feature. 1967 AM-FM radios would use this part as they did not have a balance feature. Reproduction thick premium firewall insulation pad with clips for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These are pre-formed for a perfect fit and appearance and greatly reduced engine noise and heat. Used glove compartment lock latch without a key. Fits many Ford cars 1969-73 including Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Mustangs normally did not have lockable glove boxes, but this will still work.
