These original clips hold better than the reproductions we offer. If you look closely you will see the angle bend is more acute on the originals. These clips are found on the power window swtiches of the 69 - 70 Cougar. Each power window switch has one of these clips and one of the J hook clips. 6 small clips required per master switch panel, one for each window switch and two per lock out switch.

Do not bend the "J" shaped tab any further than is necessary to release the plug from the back of the switch as these break easily. New chrome finish screws for attaching OEM consoles. Screws fit all stock consoles 1967-73 on Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, most any Ford consoles actually. Phillips head oval. 1967-68 consoles use 4 attaching screws, 1969-70 consoles need 6 along the outside, 1971-73 consoles have a total of 8 screws along the outside. D0AB-13776-A 1970 Right and left lights are the same. They are located on the "C" pillar just above the rear package tray. These plastic housings never really had brilliant shiny chroming. This plastic socket is very brittle and almost always breaks when installing a new door jamb switches. Does not fit cars with Warning Group with door ajar option. Simply install by carefully breaking the old brittle plastic socket apart with pliers to free up the wire leads and plug wire leads into the new socket.
