Here is our NOS vacuum valve assembly which is fairly hard to come by these days. This unit is for Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustangs with integral or factory air conditioning. This part is good until an assembly date of 1/3/1972 and, if you want, we also have good used pieces in stock for your Coug or Stang as well. Ford part # C9ZZ-19B888-A.

This unit mounts on the main air chamber, it opens and closes the air vent. Made of nylon with a steel and brass plunger just like original. This unit is easy to test and can be seen by removing the glove box. Often it is the internal spring that fails on these and if your Cougar or Mustang will not easily change between blowing through the defrost ducts and the floor duct, this unit may be the culprit. This is used on cars equipped with factory A/C to stop the flow of warm coolant when the A/C is on. Not an exact replacement, but it will work just fine. Replaces Ford part #: D4AZ-18495-A.

Vacuum tested working hot water valve for any 1969-73 Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustang equipped with factory A/C. This valve stops the flow of warm coolant in the heater hose, when the A/C is on. Has the original cast brass valve and vacuum pod. Used but functional, the reproduction version is very good, but has a black plastic valve, like the service replacement valves from Ford.Replaces Ford part number C9AA-18495-D.
