This is the stainless steel, single prong version fuel sending unit for 70 Cougars and Mustangs. Cougars equipped with the convenience control package, and the XR7's used a three prong version. These units are better than original being made from stainless. The function however is not as good as original but adequate and usually will work for years. If you have an original, often times it's just the float that needs replacing, so don't be quick to discard your original. Check out the video...

If you find that this tube has too small of fittings for your OEM 4150 / 4160 Holley carburetor than what has happened is that someone has replaced your transfer tube and fittings with one of the after-market kits available at speed shops. This is the ONLY correct transfer tube for a Cougar equipped with a Holley from 1967 - 1970. Replaces Ford part # C9AZ-9H576-A.

Made from fuel resistant cork like original. Modeled off the Mustang \ 69 Cougar gasket which has 5 screws (67-68 Cougar only used 4 screws), but works for any 67-73 Mustang / Cougar. For 67-68 Cougar applications you will have to just screw through the cork. We can say with out a doubt, that in both Dearborn and San Jose, the factory workers did not use the pre-drilled holes when installing the fuel filler necks. This Gas Tank To Filler Pipe Hose reproduction fits the 67, 68, 69, and 70 Mercury Cougar. Excludes 1970 with California emissions. Even if yours is not cracked it will be hard if it is over two decades old. We highly suggest you replace this part if yours is in fact hardened with age because a minor rear end collision could cause it to fail and send fuel spilling into your trunk area. Reproduction idle mixture screw caps for Holley 4150 carburetors as found on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. All white plastic caps. These were the tamper proof type of caps as installed from the factory.
This part is installed on all XR7 fuel sending units and Cougars and Mustangs with the optional Convenience Control Package. Low quality off shore part that requires soldering to your fuel sending unit. This is a temperature sensing device that activates when the fuel level drops enough to expose the unit at which point the circuit is closed and the low fuel light comes on. Commonly referred to as a Thermister / Thermistor / Low Fuel Sending Unit.
Stainless steel throttle pedal surround trim. Self attaching to part number C9ZZ-9735-A. This used part may have some wear, but will not have broken tabs. Fine steel wool really shines these up. New strip caulk for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These units come in one foot strips and are used for sealing the front fenders to top of aprons and for sealing the fuel tank flange to the trunk floor. They are also used for sealing the floor drain plugs, gas filler necks, door panel water shields, plus many other components that are fastened to the body. This box contains 60 individual strips of black non-hardening caulk.
This is a damaged but functional part. The plastic will be broken near the end thus exposing the cable.
