This kit includes the 4 fine threaded "T" shaped studs (with nuts) that mount the backing plate to the spindle and the plate that goes on the inside of the backing plate. These are used parts that are not damaged or corroded, taken from a Western parts car.

Replaces Ford part # 55806-S

This is a 100% accurate reproduction down to the captured lock washer and black Zinc coating. The only difference is that these are made from a substantially better grade of steel than the originals. These often break when you try to remove them to replace the vacuum actuator so if you are planning on doing that procedure we highly recommend buying these in conjunction with the actuators. New pan head screws for installing the automatic console shifter bezel. Sold as a set of 4. Used in conjunction with the 3 metal strips to attach the automatic shifter bezel. Correct black pan head Phillips screw. *HINT - The metal strips can be made from any strips of steel, they don't really need the edges folded if you don't cinch them down too tight. Metal strip should be 1-11/16" x 5/8" with a hole in the middle.

Reproduction Pitman Arm w/ 1" Sector Shaft Nut EACH for the 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang

This plate attaches the 3/8" steel fuel line under the driver's side rear torque box, as it makes its way from the rear frame rail out to the rocker area. It acts both as a mount and as a protector from road debris. These were used on late 1967 to 1968 Cougars and Mustang with the 3/8" fuel line. Early 1967 cars had smaller 5/16" fuel line, and different routing (through the transmission tunnel), and did not use this part. Mounting bolts included.
