Factory cast iron exhaust manifold set, both a correct right C6OE-9428-A and left C7OE-9431-A side matching exhaust manifolds. With 1969 dates. *TRIVIA* 1969 390 S code Cougars were not technically the 390GT variety. An Autolite 4300 carburetor and a non-GT intake manifold changed the designation to 390IP for "Improved Performance."

C6OE-9428-A 390-4V factory original cast iron exhaust manifold for passenger side. Even though the photo shows a chamfer where an exhaust donut would go, the proper 1967 manifold would have been cast flush, and a butterfly spacer would have been used. The spacer had a flapper that partially blocked the pipe and allow heat to be dissipated upwards to the choke. Spacers not included. D0OZ-9652-A Heat shield 'S' tube unique to 1970 351 Cleveland engines 2v or 4v. *Note - Must be used in conjunction with the heat shield part number D0OZ-9A603-F and air cleaner snorkel part number D0OZ-9A626-D.

Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and D2AZ-9A603-B (inner section) make up this two piece metal shroud for all 1972 - 1973 H code 351-2V engines. The outer shield section is common to both 2V and 4V 1972 - 1973 351c engines but the inner is unique to the 2V.

D1AZ-9A603-A Metal shroud for all 1971 351 engines including H code 351-2V and M code 351-4V. One piece design uses a paper and aluminum tube to bridge to the air cleaner snorkel.

Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-C (inner section) make up this two piece shroud for the 1972 - 1973 Q code 351-4V engine. This inner shield conforms to the 351-4V cast iron exhaust manifold only and the outer portion fits both the 2V and 4V.

Grade A exhaust manifold heat shield for any 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 351C engine, 2V or 4V, it doesn't matter. Uses a separate, small diameter metal tube (part number D0OZ-9652-A) that attaches to the 1970 Cleveland air cleaner snorkel. Grade A used will only have minor pitting, it will have no holes or rough rusted edges. We also stock B grade versions for less than half the money.Replaces Ford part number D0OZ-9A603-F.

Used grade "A" heat shield for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with either the H code 2V or M code 4V 351 Windsor engine. This metal shroud and tube assembly attaches to the factory air cleaner assembly and really finishes off the engine bay. Ford part # C9OZ-9A603-A.*NOTE* For 1970, this shield was used after the build date of 2/2/1970, but it can also be used on prior dates. We suspect that the early 2 piece shroud was discontinued because of rattling noises or some...

This two piece heat shield has a very narrow application in that it is a one year only item and only for the 390 IP (Improved Performance). It does not mate to metal a "S" shaped heat riser tube but rather a flexible paper-foil tube that attaches to a reducer on the bottom side of the snorkel. Very hard to find item, harder yet to find one that has not rusted out. The unit shown is "tender" in a couple of spots.
