Fits 1967 Standard and XR7

For use with hood dowel or latch part number C5ZZ-16929-A. Application 1967-68 Mercury Cougar, 1965-66 Ford Mustang, 1965 Falcon and Comet. Original Ford part numbers 33845-S8 & 351810-S8.

These reproduction hood latch support bolts fit both the Standard and XR7.

Multiple uses.5/8" from bend to center hole.

Exact replacement inside door handle nut, trunk lock nut, and hood scoop nut. Same finish as originals. 10 of these are used to mount the 68-71 hood scoop found on the 68 428 CJ, 69-70 Eliminator, 69-70 428 Ram Air equipped Cougars and 71 GT and 429CJ. Two of these per door are used on the 69-70 inside door release. Two of of these nuts used to attach 1967-68 Cougar trunk locks.

Correct style nut with captured washer for attaching hood scoops, 1969-70 Mercury Cougar inside door handles, and 1967-68 trunk lock. Correct nuts would have been black phosphate, these are shiny gold as shown.

This is a 100% accurate reproduction down to the captured lock washer and black Zinc coating. The only difference is that these are made from a substantially better grade of steel than the originals. These often break when you try to remove them to replace the vacuum actuator so if you are planning on doing that procedure we highly recommend buying these in conjunction with the actuators. These are the little 11/32" lock nuts (sometimes called speed nuts) that you use to attach the taillight bezel to the taillight housing. 10 nuts per bezel, 20 per car.

We have found 3 different styles of separate screws that were used during the 1967-68 model run, San Jose and Dearborn may have accounted for a difference. Fits all Mustangs, Cougars, Fords 65-70. Attaches the striker on the door pillar, the big screws. Little known fact: these aren't Phillips head screws, they are actually Pozi head / Pozi-Driv screws. While you can usually get a large Phillips screwdriver to work, the correct tool for these fasteners is a size 4 Pozi bit.
