This stepped window trim clip is great for times when your stainless trim just will not click into place. Correct looking mounting plates used to mount the 1970 original spoilers. Comes with all hardware shown, not intended for 1969 spoilers as the use of these requires large rectangular holes, found only on 1970 of the bottom side of the deck lid.

Pair of used assembly line installed 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator rear spoiler brackets. Brackets only, no fasteners or spacers. Sold as a pair as shown, right and left side brackets. Can only be used with 1970 trunk lids. 1970 trunk lids have a slot cut out on each side for locating the rear wings. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

Set of 11 screws for fastening the taillight bezel to the taillight housing on the 69 - 70 Cougar. This set is enough to do one bezel.If you bought the reproduction 69 or 70 taillight bezels, remember that they don't come with screws.Earlier year taillight bezels used mounting studs, but the 69 - 70 bezels screwed in from the housing to the bezel. This is a common panhead screw that can be found at your local hardware store brand new.

Used spacer for the lower windshield moulding, also called an 'anti rattler'. 4 of these plastic pieces were used per car. These spacers were originally installed in the four cutouts in the 1967-68 lower windshield moulding. We won't always have these in stock due to the low survival rate of these spacers.
