Blue reproduction pressure relief valve plug, for the Thermactor Smog Pump. The correct smog pump should have a relief valve and this is the pressure setting plug that goes into the valve on those 1968-71 smog pumps. 1968 manual transmission cars all engines, Holley carburetor equipped cars 1968-71.

This is a 8-32x1-1/2, 1/4 hex headed fine thread bolt and nut.  This is not the round headed slotted screw type that Ford also used.

For any 1967 or 1968 Cougar with either a 289 or 302 engine. Virtually the same bracket as for the 1969 351W engine. Except for the obvious 1-1/4 inch hole in the middle of the bracket, they are the same. Compare the OEM used part price to the reproduction part. Ford master part number C7AZ-3C511-A, same part number as the 351W bracket with the addition of the large hole. Ford intended to have a casting number stamped on these brackets and it would have been C7AA-3C511-B. For restoration...
