Engine Compartment Lights

Part of the Courtesy Light group option, standard on all XR7 models and optional on all others. 12 volt source is directly from the battery side of the starter solenoid.

*Trivia - 1967 - 1970 Non-XR7 Cougars with Body code 65A, 65C, or 76A. The Courtesy Light option included Luggage compartment light, Engine compartment light, map light (1969-70), and interior lights on the rear seat pillars. Dearborn Cougars with this option from the factory, had a code of 'CL' on the Buck tag.
