This decal can be used to overlay your replacement oil filter, so it looks more like a vintage original oil filter. Research indicates that the gold was primarily used on 66 and earlier, as was the red. This decal was sometimes placed on the dash face pad near the middle or right side, and sometimes on the sun visor.

This is an accurate reproduction of the tie down notice decal that was placed on the rear license plate frame. This was to remind dealers to remove the tie down plates that were used to secure the cars to the transport trains / trucks on their way from the factory to the dealers. Ford wanted to recycle these plates to save money, but dealers often didn't feel it was worth their time to remove the plates. Thus, many cars still have them. Check yours out! ...

New "Cougar" script window decal in black. Measures 6 3/4" wide by 2 1/8" tall.This is a die-cut vinyl decal. To install, you'll have to peel off the backing, apply the decal to the intended clean surface, press in place with a plastic squeegee or credit card, then carefully peel away the top contact paper.

We recently unearthed a few of these unused club decals from the 1980's. "Cougars Northwest" was one of the earliest Cougar Clubs in the country. It folded back in 1988. It was amazing to witness the number of XR7G's, GTE's and Eliminators that would appear at the various club functions such as the annual "Cruise To Cougar Washington". Set of 5 reproduction firewall inspection decals. During final inspection, these decals where placed in different locations on the firewall / cowl area and one P decal between the weatherstrip and dash pad inside the drivers door jam. This decal set has the assembly line inspectors names stamped on them. These decals would have been used on cars equipped with Boss 302 and BOSS 429 engines.

These were obtained from the original manufacturer and have never been mounted. Very rare find!

Rare find in NOS form! 1969 standard model Cougar, passenger side dash plate. Replaces Ford part number C9WB-6504460-A.

Due to the fact these were glued on, they are often missing. Separate "XR" and "7", Grade B used, good for a daily driver. We often get asked about where to place 69-70 XR7 and Cougar adhesive emblems. Based on personal experience and pictures from the original Ford archives the answer would be "Pretty much wherever you think looks best". Often as seen in this picture the line workers did not even attempt to get them very well centered. Both emblems were placed on the RH side of the deck lid...

This version of the emblem was actually used on early 70's full-size Mercurys, and is almost identical to the 1969-70 version used on Cougars. In order to use it on a Cougar fuel door, the studs on the back will need to be trimmed down The only visible difference is the thinner / more numerous ridge lines in the red crest area than on the Cougar version. These fuel door Mercury crest emblems are a close to original reproduction. They are an economical alternative to brighten up the looks of the rear of your 1969 - 1970 Cougar. This crest was used on all models except the 1970 Eliminator. To remove your emblem we suggest grinding down the studs on the backside. To install the reproduction emblem you will need the 26120 trim clip.

Very difficult to find, delicate aluminum quarter panel emblem in the original Ford box. Ford part number is C9WB-6525622-A, casting number on back reads C9WB-65291B62-AYou can reference the above pictures for correct dimensions, as taken from one of our cars using an original script emblem. Measurements are from the rear and lower body lines.

Good used center with no crack, missing paint or broken mounting tabs. This was used on all 1969 Cougars with a three spoke wheel except the XR7.

Very rarely do we find one like this example that shows no sign of fading. This is for the person who is trying to achieve a very high level of preservation / restoration.

This little emblem was used only on the two spoke steering wheels from 1969 - 1973. We can pretty much guarantee one if not both of the two mounting studs will be broken but because of the way it fits into the recess of the steering wheel pad, gluing it into place is not a problem. We rarely have an emblem this nice in stock for more than a few weeks of any one year as the tail was prone to breaking off as well as the "cats" other limbs. We can pretty much guarantee one if not both of the two mounting studs will be broken but because of the way it fits into the recess of the steering wheel pad, gluing it into place is not a problem. The tail will always be broken and probably at least one leg is missing on this grade B part. While not an exact fit our 3 spoke wheel emblem cat will fit on this black background.
