CURRENT DASHES IN STOCK ARE BLUE AND BLACK Good used original upper dash pad. The pad shown is for a 1968 but will work a 1967. The difference is the 68 has a relief cut for the aluminum VIN tag located on the passenger side and 67 did not.

Of the three covers used on the 67-73 Cougars we find this one the most difficult to use. Will Not Work On Badly Distorted Dash Pads. The problem is not with the product but rather the design of the original dash pad. Unlike the 69-73 pads the 67-68 pads are prone to warping (sagging) badly. This used part comes carefully cut from a parts car and will include all mounting tabs. It is slightly different from the Mustang version as it has a different contour where the dash pad attaches. AC and no AC are the same, but 67 and 68 differ slightly in height of the area where the ashtray is installed.

This rectangular trim part is located on the right side of the glove box on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars without factory installed AC. This could be referred to as a passenger side AC vent block off plate. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as-is for a driver quality car. This dummy plate filler is used on the dummy plate and the lens attaches to the front. This filler piece will be needed when doing the tach conversion. The filler piece will come with the three mounting clips. Lens sold separately.

This vinyl piece glues to the center of your block off plated on Cougars not equipped with AC. These often times have shrunk slightly over time. We cannot guarantee to always have all the colors in stock. Call for color availability or put desired color into the comments section of your order.
